Tour information

The starting point for this hike is the village square in Itter. From there, walk past Stefan's Dorfladl and follow signpost no. 4 along the Rosenweg. Pass the viewing platform and the rITTER playground to reach the Itterer Dörfl. Turn right at the fountain and follow the pink signs to "Dorfrunde Itter". At the main road, keep to the right and cross the road after a few metres. Walk along the lift path into the residential area of Lindweg. Follow this path past the sports field back to the starting point.

  • Coming from Innsbruck/Munich: A12 exit Wörgl Ost - feeder road B178 direction St. Johann i. T. & Kitzbühel - after the tunnel stay on the B178 for about 3km (drive under the traffic circle) - follow Luechstraße to Loferer Straße - at the major intersection (left Itter industrial park) turn right onto Itterer Straße - after a slight road climb you will reach your destination after about 1.5km.
    Coming from Kitzbühel: B170 Brixentalstraße in the direction of Wörgl - drive through Hopfgarten until shortly before the town exit (Hopfgarten train station) - approx. 100m after Hopfgarten train station, follow the signs to the right to Itter - on Itterer Straße up the mountain for approx. 2km until you reach the finish.
  • Bus: Itter Dorf or Hotel Edelweis Regional

    Guest card = includes a train ticket from Wörgl to Hochfilzen and a bus ticket from Mariastein to Kitzbühel
    Valid on ÖBB local trains (S, REX) and InterRegio trains (IR) between Kirchbichl, Wörgl and Hochfilzen
    Not valid on RJ, RJX, EC, IC, ICE, D and NJ/EN trains
