Tour information

This family-friendly winter hike starts directly at the tourist information office in Itter. From there walk in a westerly direction. The well marked Rosenweg trail starts right after the big bend.
Along the quiet access road, the trail first leads to a small viewing platform with a direct view of Itter Castle. The trail then continues along the edge of the forest to the rITTER playground and finally to Itterer Bauerndörfl. Pass the small fountain and head downhill towards the main road. Following this, you soon reach the village centre where you started. From there, however, the trail continues
Now the signs lead you onto Lindweg, past residential areas and finally onto an open field, which you walk around before returning to the starting point.
