The two ski areas SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental and KitzSki provide beginners or those taking up the sport again a multitude of professional ski schools and more than 200 km of easy downhill runs each. Comfortable gondolas and chairlifts facilitate the ascent. The local, spacious ski slopes and practice areas of the ski schools offer perfect learning conditions for children and adults. Children from 3 years of age have the chance to learn skiing playfully. For families there are theme-routes, funparks, movie-routes and speed measurement runs. For children there is also a guest kindergarten.
The advanced and leisure skiers will also get their money’s worth in Brixental Valley. The two ski areas offer a total of more than 400 km of easy and medium-difficult pistes. As there are local ski buses, you don’t need a car. Furthermore, there are some 120 mountain restaurants and ski lodges with typical, regional delicacies and unique panoramas awaiting you.
For ambitious skiers and "mile-crunchers" there are numerous black pistes with up to 45% gradient and long descents into the valley of up to 7 km. Some of our lifts are among the fastest ski lifts in the world and will carry you forwards at speeds up to 6 m/s.
