Alm Festival at Hotel Elisabeth
The traditional Alpine drive is the highlight of the Alm Festival at Hotel Elisabeth in Kirchberg. The festively decorated animals from the Scherrhof alpine pastures make their return from the alpine meadows at Kasplatzl to the valley towards Scherrhof, creating the central experience of the event day.
Guests can expect a varied program featuring regional culinary delights, including chicken, beer, and cake, as well as a small farmer's market with local products and handicrafts. Musical ambiance will be provided by "Die Alpis" from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A special highlight is the arrival of the alpine cattle around 12:00 p.m. The program is complemented by the maypole auction held by the young farmers from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The festival begins at 11:00 a.m. and ends around 6:00 p.m.
