Region Brixental

The three villages of Brixen im Thale, Kirchberg and Westendorf are worth a visit at any time of year. Winter convinces with over 500 kilometres of slopes in the two ski areas KitzSki and SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. In the summer months, countless hiking and cycling trails lead you to the most beautiful places in the region and make your heart beat faster. In spring, the meadows blossom in the most colourful colours and the quiet days invite you to recharge your batteries. Perfect conditions for all kinds of activities can be experienced in the golden autumn - lots of sun, pleasant temperatures and colourful forests make the whole Brixen valley glow. Your host

Maxi grew up in Westendorf and was surrounded by hospitality from an early age. For him, being a host has always been more than just a job. After a few years in Vienna, he returned and took over the guesthouse in 2023. Since then, he’s been shaping DAS DORFGEFÜHL step by step – with a focus on quality, atmosphere, and a personal connection with guests.

Manu joined in autumn – the two met in Vienna. She takes care of breakfast, yoga sessions, and many of the details behind the scenes. With her calm and creative approach, she brings fresh ideas into the house.

Together, Maxi & Manu create a place that feels easy and relaxed – a space to arrive, slow down, and feel good. Come as you are.
