Preview of the 17th Regular Guests Week 2016
The 17th Regular Guests Week will take place from 12th to 17th of June, 2016.
Every year the local Tourist Information Office invites its loyal regular guests to a very special programme of events in Westendorf. Exciting insights behind the scenes of local life, visits to places which would otherwise possibly never be found and little secrets about Westendorf are all part of the daily agenda.
We are now able to give a preview of the programme for next year and hope it appeals to you. We look forward to seeing you at the Regular Guests Week 2016 in Westendorf.
The Programme for 2016
- The mountain lift company introduces itself: What happens behind the scenes? How does a gondola lift system function? How is snow produced from a snow cannon? What can a "Piste Bully" do?
- Panoramic hike to view the rebuilding of the reservoir at the "Kreuzjöchlsee"!
- Westendorf's mountain rescue introduces itself: practice displays and simulated rescue operations
- Behind the scenes at "Holzbau Lindner": What Westendorf's businesses achieve throughout Austria!
- The hamlet "Straßhäusl" - steeped in history, agricultural and very promising! The local farmers extend an invitation!
- Regular Guests' Champion Marksman is announced
- 1st Market Day of the season
- Concert in the parish church by Westendorf's performers
