Tour information

From the entry point at the sports airfield walk parallel to the Fieberbrunner Ache over flat terrain to the height of Grieswirt, then return in the direction of Reitham, there turn right past the sports airfield to Oberhofen. Along the Berglandwegsiedlung further to Moosen and via Mitterndorf back to Oberhofen. Then again along the Fieberbrunner Ache back to the starting point Sportflugplatz. The last 6km are slightly crested meadow terrain. Otherwise easy ascents and descents in easy to moderately difficult terrain.

The trail is prepared for skaters and classic skiers.

  • From Wörgl/Kitzbühel, take the B161 to St.
    Johann in Tirol. Take the exit towards Saalfelden/Hochfilzen/Fieberbunn and
    follow the B164 to the district of “Almdorf.” Here, turn sharply left, drive
    over the bridge, and then turn right along the Fieberbrunner Ache to the sports
    airfield.


    Coming from Salzburg/Waidring, follow the B178 towards St. Johann in Tirol and
    change to the B164. At the roundabout, take the exit towards
    Saalfelden/Hochfilzen/Fieberbunn and follow the B164 to the district of
    “Almdorf.” Here, turn sharply left, drive over the bridge and then turn right
    along the Fieberbrunner Ache river to the sports airfield.

  • If you are arriving by public transport, you
    can access the trails at the sports airfield right in the center of town on
    Murweg near Fieberbrunnerache!


    By train line 201: Get off at St. Johann in Tirol train station (walk via
    Bahnhofstraße, Meranerstraße, and Dechant-Wieshoferstraße, turn right onto
    Murweg after the bridge – approx. 8 minutes)


    By bus or the OKTO winter sports bus: Get off at St. Johann in Tirol
    Meranerstraße (walk via Meranerstraße and Dechant-Wieshoferstraße, turn right
    onto Murweg after the bridge – approx. 4 minutes)
