Steff, a true Tyrolean original, passionate farmer, hunter, and beekeeper, invites you on a journey of discovery around the majestic Kitzbüheler Horn. Together, you will track down Tyrolean wildlife. With a bit of luck, you may encounter marmots, chamois, or red deer in their natural habitat. Along the way, Steff will not only share fascinating insights about the local fauna and flora but also numerous stories and special features from the region, making this tour an authentic Tyrolean experience.

The tour starts at the tourism office in St. Johann and takes you comfortably uphill with the Harschbichlbahn (guests of the St. Johann in Tirol region enjoy free rides after three overnight stays). From there, a roughly one-hour hike begins over a red hiking trail to the Kitzbüheler Horn, passing the impressive rock gate and accompanied by magnificent views of the Tyrolean mountains. At the summit, a spectacular panorama awaits you, extending as far as the Großglockner. The return path leads over the Hofer Schneid and the Jägersteig back towards Harschbichl, where a cozy stop at the Harschbichlalm or a relaxed descent with the cable car is available.
