Summer Night Cinema
The summer cinema festival of Musik Kultur St. Johann awaits with eight opulent evenings: Cinematic delicacies paired with live music and fine culinary offerings turn the Lunaplexx evenings into a sensual overall experience.The popular film festival invites you on the eight screening days starting at 7:30 p.m. first to the garden of the Old Tannery. There, you can enjoy the culinary offerings with daily changing live music and toast with a drink to a cozy cinema visit on a summer night. In case of bad weather, the accompanying program with various bands will start indoors. All films will then be shown in the hall (free seating!) starting at 9:00 p.m. Thus, the Summer Night Cinema indulges its guests all around:

An Almost Perfect Proposal at 9:00 p.m.The eccentric widower Walter spends his retirement testing restaurants and meticulously reviewing them online. During one of his restaurant visits, he unexpectedly meets his first love, Alice, again. Forty years ago, he had proposed to her and spectacularly failed. The lively and free-spirited art professor is still the exact opposite of the old-fashioned, precise Walter. The ambition of the retired engineer is awakened. He wants to do better this time, while Alice is not thinking about it at all, as she loves her independent life and does not need relationship stress. She sets a condition: Only when he shows real interest in her world, might he get a second chance.
And so Walter, who has never shown interest in art, to Alice's horror, enrolls as a guest student in her course – resolutely determined to prove to himself and to her that it is never too late to embark on new paths. But not only Alice presents him with unforeseen challenges; he also encounters his classmates who are 40 years younger than him. Unexpectedly, Alice and Walter find themselves in a new, exciting chapter of their lives and must ask themselves: Does old love really not rust?
