From Griesner Alm to Stripsenkopf
This beautiful cross received its name from Johann Tavonaro. He was a hut keeper at the Stripsenjochhaus and an enthusiastic mountain climber.
The main summit of the Predigtstuhl was first climbed by Tavonaro.
However, he erected the cross at Stripsenjoch as a thank you for his over one hundred summit tours to Totenkirchl.
