Bee Learning Garden

In Oberndorf, everything revolves around bees on 150 square meters. Located directly on the popular bike tour "Lindernrunde," beneath the farm "Linderbrand," lies the new bee educational garden, which was implemented in a collaboration between the tourism association, the landowner, beekeeper Alexander Fischer, and beekeeper Kurt Pichler.

This area has created a natural and bee-friendly experience zone that combines information, nature observation, play, and relaxation. The fascinating world of bees is always the focus. A specially built bee hotel provides insects with a suitable habitat, while information panels convey interesting facts about bees, insects, and their important role within the ecosystem. A highlight is also a small beehive with viewing opportunities – so you can even watch the bees at work. 

However, the bee educational garden is intended not only to impart knowledge but also to serve as a recreational area for hikers and cyclists. For the youngest visitors, there is also a play structure related to bees that playfully introduces the topic.
