On the Waidring Steinplatte, you certainly won’t get bored! Countless rustic huts also provide culinary delights. Panoramic shell
The panorama shell is a shell-shaped resting place with an impressive view of the surrounding landscape. In the summer months, the larch wood construction provides a relaxing stop for visitors of all ages and offers an unforgettable experience of nature. The rest area is also barrier-free.

Best hiking area between Tyrol and Bavaria! On the Waidring Steinplatte, hikers are not the only ones who get their money's worth. Climbing fans and mountain bikers can find countless climbing routes and bike trails on the plateau. The Triassic Park attracts all children with its numerous attractions, such as the viewing platform, the Triassic beach and a limestone cave.
CLIMBING | Over 100 sport climbing routes are waiting on the Steinplatte to be climbed by you. From beginners to professionals, here you can find single pitch routes to multi pitch routes and difficulty grades up to 8c.
MOUNTAIN BIKING | Three circuits are available for mountain bikers - from the leisurely tour to Winklmoosalm and on towards Reit im Winkl, or the more challenging tour to the Loferer Alm
HIKING | Whether it’s a leisurely lakeside hike or a tour up to the Steinplatte summit - numerous hiking trails with fantastic views are waiting to be discovered.
