Quality requirements for the Tirol slope seal of approval
In addition, the start and finish area are to be designated and be provided with appropriate facilities and information. Slope towns, which deal with guests who visit daily, must have well-organised car parking options within reasonable distance to the start and finish areas; their size should correspond to the range of slopes offered.
The slope area should have at least three slopes. These slopes should be independent of one another and have two tracks. The routes may only run directly side by side on short sections. The slope seal of approval may only be given to cross-country skiing areas which have on average at least eighty days of snow (days when snow coverage is around ten centimetres) during the winter.
