Salvista gondola lift Itter NEW

With the 10-seat gondola lift up to the Kleine Salve as of winter 2020/21

Just in time for the 2020/21 winter season construction work for the new, state-of-the-art Salvista gondola lift Itter will be completed. The valley station of the new gondola lift will be built in the same location as the old station, the routing up to the Kraftalm will also remain the same. At the same height as the Kraftalm, a new mid-station (1.353 m) will be built, where it’s possible to get on. The mountain station of the gondola lift will then be located on the summit of the Kleine Salve (1.560 m). With that, the Salvista gondola lift in Itter will be extended by 650 m. A modern technology centre for snowmaking, snow cats and workshops is also part of this huge investment.

The Salvista lift in Itter looks back on a long history. It was constructed in the year 1986 and, for the first couple of years, functioned as a chairlift. Then the 4-seat gondola lift was built, which has now been in operation for more than 30 years. The Salvista gondola lift in Itter allows skiers fast access to the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. In winter 2019/20, the gondola lift will be running in this form for the last season. The SkiWelt Hopfgarten-Itter is investing 24 million Euro into the new state-of-the-art Salvista gondola lift with a technology centre and reservoir.

NEW: The new Salvista gondola lift in Itter will also be running in the summer season.
