The Woodstock Academy

A Musical Retrospective

The Woodstock Academy has enriched the Brixental Valley over the past few years in a rousing, melodious and collaborative way. Music was played, rehearsed and celebrated with a lot of passion, harmony and a real brass band feeling - a time that we will always remember fondly. Even though the event will no longer take place in Brixental Valley in the future, we look back with a smile - grateful for many unforgettable sounds and moments.

Woodstock Academy continues - just not with us!

Be it a beginner or music student, simply interested or highly motivated, whether you want a full programme every day or prefer to take it easy, every participant can put together their own Woodstock Academy week. It's irrelevant if you are a professional or an amateur - everything is allowed. Our instructors offer a suitable session for every age, every level and every instrument.

The list of those personalities who pass on their knowledge and skills to the participants during the Woodstock Academy is extensive. From folk music stars to orchestral musicians of the Vienna Philharmonic to mental coaches or stage stars with abundant experience. From Roman Rindberger to Andreas Hofmeir, from Birgit Ramsl-Gaal to Mona Köppen, from the flute to the tuba, from the Wim Hof Method to the Buzzing Book, from alphorn players to percussion professionals, it will be colourful, it will be varied. There is guaranteed to be something for everyone.
