Training camp premiere: Ajax Amsterdam visits the Brixental
The women's team of Ajax Amsterdam is preparing for the new season in the Brixental
From July 13 to 18, the women's team of Ajax Amsterdam will hold their training camp in the Brixental for the first time. Training will take place at the sports field of SV Brixen im Thale, where the players will prepare for the upcoming season. With the presence of the Dutch top club, the Brixental once again gains international attention as a popular destination for sports and training camps.
A special connection to the location played an important role in the decision for the training camp: Anouk Bruil, the coach of the women's team, has felt particularly comfortable and connected to Brixen im Thale since her childhood. The familiar surroundings, the tranquility of the region, and the optimal conditions for training made the Brixental the ideal location for the team's summer preparation.
In addition to intensive training sessions, the training camp also offers football fans the opportunity to experience international top players up close.
From Tuesday to Thursday, public training sessions will take place at the sports field of SV Brixen im Thale. Training will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interested visitors will gain exciting insights into the training routines of a European top club.
A special highlight awaits on Friday, July 17: At 2:15 p.m., Ajax Amsterdam will play a friendly match against FC Nürnberg at the football field in Brixen im Thale. The match will last four times 30 minutes. The game promises exciting football and attractive duels at a high level. Admission is 8 euros per person.
With the training camp of Ajax Amsterdam, the Brixental will once again become a meeting point for international football in summer, offering both guests and locals a unique opportunity to experience top-level football amidst the Tyrolean mountains.
