Tour information

You can start this tour at the hikers' car park in Obwall (road towards Hochreit). The trail leads along a gravel road and hiking paths through the forest up to the rustic Rohreralm.

TIP: Bike & Hike: by bike to the starting point! At the Obwall car park there is not only space for cars, but also for bikes! The bikes can be parked and locked (bring your own lock!).

TIP: Special mountain moments at the not much frequented summit of the Wallerberg! Ascent from Rohreralm approx. 1h. Attention: Alpine trail that requires surefootedness and a head for heights!!!

Getting there Coming from St. Johann i.T. or Hochfilzen via the B164 Hochkönig Bundesstraße (coming from Waidring / St. Ulrich via the L2 Pillerseestraße) to Fieberbrunn. In the district of Rosenegg, between Gasthof Obermair and the TIWAG building, turn off in the direction of Obwall / Hochreit. Follow the road uphill towards Hochreit. At the crossroads in Obwall (right towards St. Jakob i.H.) continue straight on. The car park (for a few cars) is right next to the road.
Public transport By bus: free bus service from Ellmau / Kitzbühel / St. Johann i.T. / Lofer and within the Pillerseetal region. Bus stop Fieberbrunn Obermair. Free of charge with guest card. Walking time to the starting point approx. 30 minutes.

By train: free train connection from Wörgl to Hochfilzen (regional trains) with guest card. Fieberbrunn railway station. Walking time to the starting point approx. 30 minutes.
