Kurzer Grund (MTB route 225)
Start the day with a tasty mountain breakfast at Niederkaseralm (from 10 a.m.), served with: various cheeses from our alpine dairy, bacon, alpine butter, spread, jam, homemade wood oven bread, scrambled eggs with bacon, 1 glass of fruit whey, 1 hot drink of your choice (coffee, tea, cocoa).
Please order in advance for a group of 6 people or more! The Niederkaseralm is a "Frühstück am Berg" (breakfast on the mountain) partner business!
Accessible on foot, by bike (e-bike charging station), car or by bus (groups please register) - toll road.
On Mondays and Fridays, the Niederkaseralm offers guided tours of the cheese dairy followed by cheese tasting.
Advance booking is requested.
In the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps – in the Kurzer Grund valley in the Kelchsau area,
this cheese dairy has been run for generations.
The product range at Niederkaseralm includes:
Cheese, butter, curd and yoghurt.
Enjoy the beautiful view from the terrace with a hearty alpine snack and take the opportunity to buy homemade natural products.
