Long Friday with 'Hand auf´s Herz'

The beloved "Long Friday" has a cool concert format with it this summer: the picnic concerts on the mountain. Enjoying the romantic sunset and delicacies from the picnic basket while listening to live music on a picnic blanket? Sounds like a perfect evening? With an innovative concert format - the picnic concerts - this is possible this summer as part of the Long Friday in Fieberbrunn. On ten dates, from 11 July to 29 August, Timok's Wild World, at the Streuböden middle station, offers musical listening pleasure paired with culinary delights from the picnic basket. And all this amidst unique mountain scenery. Those who don't feel like making long picnic preparations can order a picnic basket online in advance and let themselves be pampered.

New: Bike Flow
Start the weekend with a relaxed dose of flow!
During Long Friday in Fieberbrunn, you can enjoy the trails until 7 p.m. every Friday from 11 July to 29 August 2025 – thanks to extended lift hours on the F1 Streubödenbahn. Afterwards, relax and enjoy live music in a picnic atmosphere at the middle station. Perfect for a smooth start to the weekend with bikes and beats!
At the Streuböden mid-station, night owls will find the perfect location to enjoy a relaxed end to the week. In summer, the Fieberbrunn cable cars offer weekly picnic concerts, which provide special moments on the mountain. Surrounded by the peaks of the Wildseeloder, Henne and the Loferer Steinberge, guests will find the perfect conditions for a musical end to the day, in the Streuböden Arena at the mid-station of the cable car. The gondola lift will therefore run continuously until 10 pm throughout July and August and provides night owls with a safe way to return home. Timok's Alpine Coaster is open until dusk for all children and the young at heart.
On Fridays in July and August, the Streuböden cable car (1st section) is open until 11:00 p.m. and offers the unique opportunity to experience the Fieberbrunn mountains at night with live music, free coasters and lots of culinary delights.
The picnic concerts start at 7 pm. The Fieberbrunn cable cars operate continuously until 10 pm on Fridays.
The event location is in the Timoks Wilde Welt Family & Leisure Park at the Streuböden midway station and can be reached with the F1 Streuböden gondola lift (1st section). Alternatively, you can reach the area in about an hour's hike from the valley station via hiking trail no. 8 or by mountain bike via trail no. 260.
On the Long Fridays, all season & annual tickets as well as association cards such as the Pillerseetal Card (note one use per day) or Kitzbüheler Alpen Summer Card are valid. In addition, normal single rides (uphill & downhill) can be purchased as during the day.
The picnic basket can be purchased directly online.
On Long Friday, the basket can be picked up until 7 pm at the S4 Alm at the valley station. It must be returned to the same location after the event. There, you will also receive a cash refund for the deposit paid online.
All visitors are invited to bring their own picnic blankets and filled picnic baskets. Since it can cool down quickly on the mountain in the evening and the ground can get damp, we recommend bringing water-resistant picnic blankets or a jacket.
For visitors who cannot or do not want to sit on the ground, our wheelbarrow benches are available at the middle station (free of charge - first come - first serve, to be returned after use).
In case of bad weather the concert will take place in the S4 Alm at the bottom station.
There are toilets directly at the Streuböden middle station.
A free bus shuttle for visitors from the Pillerseetal is also available at the Long Friday.
Yes, the use of the cable cars and the gravel path from the middle station to the meadow are barrier-free. Visitors with wheelchairs can easily choose a suitable place for themselves. Visitors who cannot sit on the ground can borrow a wheelbarrow bench.
The ticket offices at the valley station are open continuously until 9 pm
Yes, season tickets, annual tickets, sports passes and network tickets such as the Pillerseetal Card are valid in the evening. From 5 pm onwards, reduced prices also apply for the first section.
