Alpegg Honey Factory – First Demeter Beekeeping in Tyrol
The Alpegg Honey Factory of the Defrancesco family in Waidring stands for biodynamic beekeeping and the highest quality honey. Beekeeper Roland Defrancesco is the first and so far only certified Demeter Austria beekeeper in Tyrol. His bees are kept according to the strict Demeter guidelines – in harmony with nature, sustainably, and particularly bee-friendly.
The quality of the honey has been awarded multiple times, including Gold at the Tyrolean Honey Award. In addition to fine Demeter honey, sustainable beeswax products are also created in the factory
