Tour information

The starting point of the hike is the Hopfgarten information office. From there, follow the tracks of the KAT Walk long-distance hiking trail into the centre of Hopfgarten. Passing the Gasthof Traube, the road leads to Cafe Lois. Directly in front of the cafe, opposite the Raiffeisenbank, turn left into Lukasfeld and follow the signs no. 72 to the fish pond.
From there, continue hiking towards Itter or Gries (no. 72) until you reach the Rahmstättbrücke. After crossing the bridge, keep right and walk under the railway underpass to Hopfgarten.
You can return to the starting point via the market centre.

Getting there Coming from Innsbruck/Munich: A12 exit Wörgl Ost – feeder road B178 towards St. Johann i. T. & Kitzbühel – after the tunnel take the exit towards Hopfgarten – at the roundabout take the exit onto the B170 towards Hopfgarten – in Hopfgarten turn left before the railway underpass towards Salvena – follow the signs to the destination.

Coming from Kitzbühel: B170 Brixentalstraße towards Wörgl – in Hopfgarten after the second railway underpass take the first exit on the right towards Salvena – follow the signs to the destination.
Public transport Bus: Hopfgarten Berglift Bahnhof

Regional Guest Card = train ticket from Kirchbichl to Hochfilzen + bus ticket from Mariastein to Kitzbühel included!
Valid on ÖBB local trains (S, REX) and InterRegio trains (IR) between Kirchbichl - Wörgl and Hochfilzen
