But what does a couple do when they realize that this behavior isn't really working? Right – they stop being nice to each other in the future. Let’s see if that brings some spark back into the relationship. Leni and Erwin come to this realization on their wedding day. To be precise, it's mainly Leni who comes to this conclusion. Because Erwin thinks it's perfectly fine not to spend hours reflecting on their relationship by candlelight. Why work in the evening when they've already been at home all day? Exactly. But Leni misses the mutual interest.
