On the open beehive day, exciting insights into the fascinating world of honeybees and the work of an amateur beekeeper are gained. During a guided tour of the apiary, participants learn interesting facts about the life of a bee colony, honey production, and the importance of bees for nature, agriculture, and biodiversity.
In addition to interesting information about honey, wax, and propolis, visitors can expect a tasting of regional honey varieties as well as a small honey sample to take home. A varied experience for young and old.
