Enjoy the unique location 1150 m above sea level which offers a fantastic panoramic view. Here you’ll get rewarded with the first rays of dawn every day - an outstanding experience at the highest situated farm of Hopfgarten.
From the farm to Hopfgarten’s town centre it takes you 10 minutes by car.

Tradition and customs count a lot on the farm. Our guests appreciate particularly the family atmosphere.
While parents take in the amazing view of the surrounding mountains from the balcony their kids can discover the farm.

The Holiday Region Hohe Salve is always worth a visit in summer. Whether challenging hiking tours or easy themed trails - hiking fun for the whole family is guaranteed. Numerous exciting outings in and around the Kitzbühel Alps make children’s eyes shine brighter. The holiday region also offers a varied weekly summer programme as well as first-class childcare service.
In winter young and old skiing enthusiasts enjoy the perfectly groomed slopes of the ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental.
Our guests find pistes of all levels of difficulty. Off the slopes they can enjoy numerous cross-country ski trails, winter walks and snowshoeing options. You can even set off on a ski tour right from the farm.

The region Hohe Salve in the Kitzbüheler Alpen hosts one of the largest and most modern ski resorts in the world, the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, where skiing holidays in winter are packed with fun and action. In summer, the hiking area in and around Hopfgarten im Brixental extends from the Adlerweg trail on Buchacker mountain via the adventure mountain Hohe Salve to the Torhelm, the highest peak in the Kitzbüheler Alpen. Be it spring, summer, autumn or winter – in the Kitzbüheler Alpen you find boundless possibilities for leisure time activities such as skiing, cross-country skiing, winter rambling, cycling, hiking, swimming, and many others. Check out: until 9 a.m.
Take the A12 motorway exit Wörgl Ost and drive in the direction of Brixental. After approx. 10 km you get to Hopfgarten where you drive through the railway underpass and over the bridge. Keep to the left towards Penningberg (Kelchsau). Take the road on the right uphill to Peningbergand after about 7 km you arrive at our farm.
Hopfgarten is only a few minutes’ drive away from Wörgl, the important traffic hub, where more than 20 rapid trains stop every day. The Holiday Region Hohe Salve offers low-cost shuttle service from the station to your accommodation. During your stay your guest card will work as your personal travel ticket - all regional trains, VVT busses and Wörgl citybus are included in your guest card.

Arrival in winter: Snow chains may be necessary when ascending the Penningberg!
