Der heutige METZGERWIRT wurde im Jahre 1930 von Josef Scheffauer (Träger der Goldenen Tapferkeitsmedaille) gekauft. Der Metzgerwirt ist bis heute, d.h. seit bereits 3 Generationen, im Besitz der Familie Scheffauer.
Sehr viel Arbeit und Fleiß haben den Metzgerwirt zu dem gemacht, was er jetzt ist - ein sehr komfortabel ausgestattetes ***+ Hotel mit der Küche und Atmosphäre eines guten ****Hotels! Immer wieder hat die Familie Scheffauer das Hotel mit sehr viel Liebe und Engagement umgebaut, renoviert und es wurde ein neuer Trakt dazu gebaut.
