Vacation at the organic farm in Waidring with heart and history: Away from the hustle and bustle, in a quiet, natural location with an unobstructed view of the mountains lies our traditional ancestral farm, in family ownership for over 250 years. Here you will experience a true farm vacation – with plenty of space to breathe, nature, and hospitality.

In summer, you can start directly from the farm for hikes, bike tours, and to our alpine pasture on the Steinplatte, where you can enjoy the fresh Tyrolean mountain air. In winter, the Steinplatte ski area beckons, along with winter hiking trails, tobogganing opportunities, and quiet corners to consciously experience the snowy landscape.

Vacationing at Bergerbauer means a family atmosphere, cozy hours, and genuine relaxation. Several generations live under one roof, giving the farm its special warmth. With farm-produced organic products, your stay will be restful, enjoyable, and sustainable. We look forward to welcoming you soon with a warm "Griass di".

Region Pillerseetal

Nestled between the Steinplatte, the Loferer Steinberge and the Kitzbühel Alps, the Pillerseetal is the perfect setting for shared holiday moments that will stay with you forever. At the heart of the valley lies the emerald-green Pillersee – surrounded by nature that invites you to explore, breathe deeply and enjoy yourself.

In summer, a variety of hiking and cycling adventures, exciting mountain adventure parks and crystal-clear lakes await you – perfect for mountain adventures and active relaxation. In winter, three ski resorts, perfectly groomed cross-country trails and idyllic winter walking routes ensure unforgettable days in the snow.

Guests spending their holiday in the Pillerseetal can explore the entire Kitzbühel Alps region easily by bus and train – use of public transport is included with the Pillerseetal Guest Card. The guest card also offers many other attractive services and benefits. The “Family Moments” offer additional benefits for even more shared experiences in the region.

We warmly welcome you to our beautiful Waidring, where a very special place awaits you. Surrounded by the Loferer Steinberge, the Waidringer Steinplatte, the Fellhorn, and the Wilder Kaiser lies our idyllic and peacefully located organic farm. Since autumn 2025, we - Melanie and Georg Hirzinger, along with our two children Rosalie and Valentin - have been proudly and passionately managing the farm, which has been in our family for over 250 years.
