The Light of Peace comes to Itter

"The peace light is the message of peace and is intended to herald the birth of Christ"

The members of the ‘Freilaufende Itterer’ will bring the peace light to Itter with torches. The arrival at the music pavilion is expected between 5.00 pm and 6.00 pm. Mulled wine, punch and sausages will be offered at the bar.

The peace light can be picked up by anyone.

Note: on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, between 08:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m., the Peace Light can also be collected from the fire brigade in Itter without a frame.
