On the 60th anniversary of the Kaiser Mountains nature reserve, our hiking guide Georg will take you around the nature reserve and will tell you interesting information and stories.
A popular hiking destination offers spectacular views of the Wilder Kaiser’s northern rock walls. On our hike through the nature reserve to Ranggenalm, the Kaiser massif is our constant companion, and we really get to enjoy the beautiful views throughout the hike. At “Vordere Ranggenalm” they still produce cheese in traditional style, and binoculars will allow you to see chamois in their natural habitat. At “Latschenbrennerei” you will learn how oil is extracted from mountain pines.
