A scenic and rewarding hike in the Wilder Kaiser Mountains. Prerequisites: good physical condition and good hiking gear. This day-long hike takes us close to the Kaiser’s rugged rock walls and towers, and the animals living there. We use binoculars to watch chamoise and rock climbers as they adroitly move through the rock. Destinations change weekly and include Maukeck, Schleier Waterfall, Herrenstein, Fritz-Pflaum-Hütte and Niederkaiserkamm. Please contact your host, local tourist office or refer to our Calendar of Events for information on the respective destination.
Walking time: 5 h
Effort Level: 900-1,400 meters elevation gain and loss
