Hopfgarten - Kelchsau
The varied route gently leads uphill through forests and meadows, past the magnificent farms of Penningberg. After a short, level part of the way towards Innerpenningberg the second ascent starts to the rustic Haagalm. Without any significant difference in altitude you get to Höhenbrandalm where the descent begins via the forest path to the destination of the stage, Kelchsau. In Kelchsau you also find some of the most beautiful wooden houses and farmsteads.
