The Große Rettenstein is a 2366m high, multi-peaked mountain in the Kitzbühel Alps. Although not the highest, the Großer Rettenstein is the most prominent peak in the Kitzbühel Alps, which are otherwise mostly gentle grassy mountains. This demanding mountain tour for "mountain experts" on the Großer Rettenstein requires good physical condition and surefootedness. With the right equipment and provisions, nothing stands in the way of a wonderful, varied and panoramic day in the midst of the Kitzbühel Alps!
