Experience the Alpinolino Discovery Park in Westendorf, Tyrol
In the Alpinolino discovery park everything revolves around fun and interesting adventures. The magnificent setting amongst Alpine scenery on the mountain provides for tricky and exciting puzzles. Under the motto "play, explore and discover", there are numerous stations setup on the 1.5 km long "Himmelsteig" circuit on the Choralpe mountain or on the "Holzwurmweg" from the middle station down to the valley. The educational stations make very positive impressions on this mountain experience. "Schlauberger", the Alpinolino mountain guide and "Adler Bert", the eagle, accommpany the children on their trip.
On the trail of the marmots
On an observation tour on the "Himmelsteig"
The "Himmelsteig" begins directly at the Alpenrosenbahn's mountain-top station in Westendorf. 14 different stations with observation opportunities as well as puzzle solving and play await children and parents on the Alpine circular route which, of course, concentrates on local mountain animals and their habitat. If you look really closely, occasionally real marmots can be seen on the trail!
The "Himmelsteig" is not a particularly long trail, but is dotted with countless surprises and great views. Here the kids just forget about time. And the highlight - on the "Himmelsteig" trail even the youngest holiday guests have the chance to achieve a "summit victory"! If you climb to the top of the "Guggenkögele", you will find yourself at a proud 1,886 m above sea-leval and can enjoy a stunning panoramic view. "Adler Bert's" home is located just beside the summit cross - he couldn't have found a nicer location for his nest, or what do you think?
