Round Tour via Itter

Start this tour at the information office in Hopfgarten and ride past the beautiful, twin-towered Baroque church, which is also called the Minster of the Brixental valley, until you get to the fire department. Turn right there, and follow the cycling path n° 269 uphill to the district Hacha. Have a short break there and enjoy the diverse flower splendor adorning the farmhouses as well as the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Continue along the cycling path 269 which leads you right into the centre of Itter, the so-called “village of roses”.
At the village square you will be able to admire the most different species of roses and you will get to know interesting things about their history and origin. From there you have also a lovely view of the landmark of Itter, Itter Castle,, which is situated behind the church.
Now go on in the direction of the outdoor swimming centre Itter where you can refresh yourself in the pool or/ and have a snack at the sunny terrace while the batteries of your e-bike are recharged.
The tour goes on in the direction of Mühltal. Go straight ahead at the crossing at the garden centre “Grüner Markt” in the direction of the inn Gasthof Rössl, which is quite popular for its excellent regional cuisine.
The tour continues on route n° 14 towards Bruckhäusl-Wörgl. In Bruckhäusl, there is a junction on the level of the church, leading you to the Brixental cycling path n° 21 which takes you past the inns  Hauserwirt and Griesswirt back towards Hopfgarten.
After the KLAFS company, a small wooden bridge on the right leads you across the river. Now keep on going straight ahead until you get to the fish pond Lärchenteich where you can not only enjoy the most delicious fish but also catch it yourself.
Continue your way back to Hopfgarten straight ahead, turn left at the next crossing and go on over the bridge and further on through the railway underpass back to where you have started.
