Around the Wilder Kaiser
The rough peaks of the Kaiser mountain range rise among the gentle grass mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps in the south and the Chiemgau Alps in the north 2400 m into the sky. Already in the beginning of the 19th century mountaineers from all over the world came here to prove themselves in the rough limestone and dolomite rock formations of the Wilder Kaiser mountain on the most difficult routes at that time. With tours like “Des Kaisers neue Kleider” (level of difficulty 10+ or 8b+, only 4 attempts since 1994) the Wilder Kaiser mountain has been attracting climbing enthusiasts now and then alike.
