Marvel at historic farms, hike along the centuries-old Römerweg (Roman path) and arrive in the lively market town of St. Johann in Tirol.

With a view of the striking Kitzbüheler Horn and the Wilder Kaiser as a constant companion, the route leads over wonderfully situated farms on the Bichlach and the Römerweg on the edge of Kitzbühel towards Oberndorf. The stage destination is St. Johann in Tirol.
Today's hike starts at Münichau Castle and leads via the paths Bahaus and then Geringweg to Waldbad Gieringer Weiher, which serves as a mud bath in summer and is sometimes used for curling in winter. With a leisurely incline, the hike leads uphill to the traditional farms on Bichlach.

After the Vogelsberger Weiher and crossing the Bichlach, you will come to the main road in the valley towards Kitzbühel. This must be crossed in order to get onto the road in the direction of Kitzbüheler Horn.

The route leads on the Walsenbachweg through the Grub settlement, which gives an idea of ​​the flair of Kitzbühel. When you arrive at a beautiful farm, keep left to leave the outskirts of town and walk along the Römerweg to Oberndorf.

By hiking through the hamlet Wiesenschwang you will stay on the route towards St. Johann in Tirol.

On the last section of today's tour you will pass the founding and main location of the international wood factory Egger, which employs over 10,000 people worldwide.

Here the Römerweg joins the Speckbacherstraße and soon you will reach the beginning of the center of St. Johann in Tirol.

To arrive at the stage destination, the St. Johann tourist information office, stay on Speckbacherstraße until you reach the Billa supermarket. You will see your destination on the left.
