On Saturday, March 21, the ski resort in St. Johann in Tirol will become the setting for a very special winter adventure.
The St. Johann in Tirol region is known for its long mining history – and according to an old legend, a treasure is still said to be hidden on Harschbichl.
Families, couples, or solo adventurers will have the unique opportunity that day to go treasure hunting in a secured area with a small garden shovel.
Participation is possible with a valid ski ticket (season pass, day ticket, multi-day ticket – no touring tickets). Those who purchase our "Treasure Hunter Sticker" for €5.00 at the box office may start the treasure hunt five minutes earlier.
All proceeds will be donated to a charitable cause. Every participant can bring a small shovel (flower trowel) from home to facilitate digging. For those without suitable tools, flower trowels will be available at the entrance (while supplies last). A refreshment during the treasure hunt is also provided – a drink from Silberquelle is included.
There are 40 prizes with a minimum value of €100 waiting for lucky treasure hunters, such as:
- Blizzard Firebird Race Ski with binding worth €1,520
- Season tickets for the St. Johanner Bergbahnen worth €535
- 1 vacation for 2 people and 2 nights worth approximately €400
- and much more
