Exhibition: Anton Christian - der Zeitreisende

The Museum and Cultural Association of St. Johann in Tirol is pleased to present an exhibition featuring works by Anton Christian this summer. All art enthusiasts are warmly invited to the opening on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 7:30 PM. The opening words will be spoken by the Tyrolean writer Christoph W. Bauer.

For over fifty years, Anton Christian has relentlessly explored the depths of humanity. His works are as mysterious and poetic as they are occasionally bitter, nourished by current events, myths, fairy tales, and literature. He silences the viewer, deeply moved, compelling them to engage with the radicality of life's reality. Beyond any randomness, Christian creates worlds full of archaism, against forgetting, in the face of existence.

Gallery in the Museum St. Johann in Tirol - Opening hours: Until July 5: Tue, Thu, Sat: 10 AM - 12 PM, from July 8: Tue to Sat: 10 AM to 1 PM and by appointment. Exhibition duration until August 16, 2025. The museum is also open during these times. The entire building can be visited free of charge with the St. Johann Card.
