The city of Kufstein can be accessed easily and quickly from the Kitzbüheler Alpen. Kufstein is surrounded by pasture land, forests and lakes in Tirol's Unterland, close to the German border. Rattenberg - 50km from St. Johann in Tirol

Covering an area of some ten hectares, Rattenberg is the smallest town in Austria. This little town is known far and wide as being the town of glass. During a stroll through the medieval pedestrianized zone you'll discover the numerous charming details on the carefully restored medieval houses. The many glass-finishing businesses which made Rattenberg renown as a town of glass, are not to be missed either. Sights such as the Augustiner Museum, the nail makers' houses and the craft museum, the town's parish church and the glass blowing workshop in Hause Kisslinger are definitely worth a visit. Salzburg is a cosmopolitan city, in a small scale, and is located close to the Kitzbüheler Alpen in Tirol. Mozart and "The Sound of Music" have made Salzburg world famous. The silhouette of the fortress, the cathedral and steeples in the enchanting Baroque town on the northern edge of the Alps are what make the town distinctive.
