Kaiserbachtal conservation area in Gasteig/Kirchdorf:
The toll road to Kaiserbachtal makes it possible for people with a handicap to enjoy the views to the strange, rugged cliff faces of the Wilder Kaiser. From Griesenau/Kirchdorf the well-connected road proceeds past the mountaineer memorial chapel, Fischbachalm, the mountain pine distillery up to the Griesner Alm.

An animal park with lots of exotic animals. More than 500 animals of 70 different species have found a new home from home in this well-kept facility which has lots of flowers. Fohlenhof Ebbs is the most significant Haflinger stud farm in the world and is open daily for guided tours. On some of them the horses demonstrate their skills in a Haflinger Show.

At 121 years old, the steam rack-and-pinion railway takes 45 minutes to go through the wild and romantic landscape of Jenbach to the southern tip at Achensee. The train drivers lift wheelchairs into the cable car. ÖBB provide a lift available for electric wheelchairs. Barrier-free access to the road is also available at the exit of Achensee train station and provided to excursion boats.

With a fall height of 380m over three levels, Krimml Waterfalls are the fifth highest waterfalls in the world and the biggest in Europe.

Innsbruck
The most famous landmark of the capital of Tirol is the Golden Roof in the Gothic old town area. St. Jakob cathedral is behind it, set in narrow streets. Stroll on Maria-Theresien-Straße to the ‘Triumphpforte’. And then in Hofgarten enjoy the tranquillity beneath the shade of the trees near the Hofburg.

Built as a residence for Tirol’s state rulers. The alcove balcony which has 2657 gilded copper shingles was added by Emperor Maximilian I. Built in late Gothic style under Archduke Sigmund and Emperor Maximilian I., redesigned by Empress Maria Theresia, state room, chapel, exhibition rooms.

The silhouette of the fortress, cathedral and church steeples in the Baroque town is so beautiful that it has long been regarded as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. On a stroll through the Old Town area you will discover the Getreidegasse, the cathedral, the Residenz, the Glockenspiel, Mozart’s birth house, the Horse Pond, St. Peter’s Monastery, the famous Festival Playhouses and across the river, Mirabell Gardens and Mirabell Palace with its marble hall - and with Hohensalzburg Fortress always in sight.
