Summer Card: One Ticket, Many Possibilities
The key to the region’s attractions – and many reductions – is the Kitzbüheler Alpen Summer Card. Valid daily from Mai to Oktober for use on the 31 lifts operating in the summer on the 14 mountains in the region. All this enables easier access to the 20 high altitude hikes and the 7 mountain crossings. Mountain bikers can also make great use of the Summer Card taking them to the start of the many single trails and freeride tracks a number of times in one day, for example around the Gaisberg in Kirchberg or up to the Ehrenbachhöhe to the extra-long Fleckalm-Trail and to the trails in Hopfgarten and St. Johann in Tirol. Thouhg, only one ascent per day is permitted with the Kitzbüheler Alpen Sommer Card for cyclists. For multiple journeys mountain bikers and downhillers must purchase their own tickets.

Yet the card is also valid for use with 43 bonus partners, with cardholders receiving 10, 25 to 50% reductions on the normal entrance price. Among these partners are museums, swimmingpools, outdoor sports opertors and daytrip destinations. The Summer Card is available for two to fourteen days at all lift company ticket desks. Kitzbüheler Alpen Summer Card three day cardholders can save up to 15% on single journeys alone, and for 6 days as well as for multi-day tickets.
