Tour information

From the Steinplatte parking (ascent via toll road) by the former alpine restaurant Steinplatte (signpost), take the nature trail (Brennhütte) to the Durchkaseralm and Windbühel. From there take the trail on the left (No 6) to the Straubinger Haus (1.588m; contemplation). From there walk to the Fellhorn (1.764 m).

Alternative: ascent with the cable car Steinplatte Waidring, from there it takes you about 45 minutes to the Steinplatte parking. Keep in mind that it takes one hour more for the descent.
