Tour information

The ca. 7 kilometres long and up to 200m high wall offers excellent climbing possibilities all along the Waidringer Steinplatte over Wiesloch, Wemeteige, Schwollwand, Sonnwand, Tanzboden and Urlkopf until the already in the state of Salzburg located Lachfeldkopf.
The western and eastern edge of the area are easier accessible thanks to toll roads and ski lifts from Waidring or Lofer respectively and have a dense route network (looks at the climbing guide "Steinplatte" by Adi Stocker, Alpinverlag Panico). However, the potential for further expansion is not exhausted yet. All in all, this is certainly one of the top climbing areas in Central Europe.
