The planned route for 2020 can already be revealed. The route starts from Hochfilzen and leads via the Burgeralm and the Spielberghorn towards Schwarzleo in Leogang. After the night break in Soldheim, the route leads via the Römersattel on towards Hirschbichl and via St. Martin bei Lofer towards Lofer. From there, a final ascent to Loderbichl awaits participants in the middle of the Lofer Alpine World.
The Stoaberg hike takes place every year at the end of June at the solstice and has a new route each year. As the route passes over high-alpine terrain, a certain level of fitness, a good head for heights and sure-footedness are required! The Fun Connection mountain guides will safely lead you from start to finish and are also on hand to answer any questions or to help with physical injuries. The 24 hours demand a lot from hikers, but every finisher would agree: the physical exertion is worth it every single time. When you tackle the last kilometres at sunset, your exertion over the past hours is soon forgotten and you can be proud to be called a "Stoaberg-Hike finisher".

For energy-saving reasons we will of course avoid all kinds of special effects, as well as outdoor lighting and projectors.
If litter cannot be avoided, we will do our best to dispose of this appropriately and will take into account the regional waste separation systems. And for this we also hope for the support and assistance of our participants.
Seasonal, regional and, where possible, organic food: At the refuelling stations and during breaks in our restaurants and mountain lodges, you will be treated to regional specialities.
We will consciously use reusable dishes and cutlery as well as glasses, and will buy our drinks in bulk and/or reusable containers. Therefore, we request that our hikers avoid bringing food and drink in disposable packaging.
