From summer 2025, the Triassic Park on the Steinplatte Waidring will delight visitors with a new attraction: the barrier-free Panorama Shell made from larch wood. It offers spectacular views of the Tyrolean mountains and invites you to relax in the middle of a fossilised coral reef. Along the Triassic Trail around the summit, life-size dinosaurs, fossilised corals and ammonites await in ‘Fischer's Coral Garden’. Other highlights include the viewing platform, the low ropes course and the Triassic Beach with water features and Kneipp facilities. Young and old explorers can uncover fossils, dig up a dinosaur skeleton or go on a puzzle rally using augmented reality. There is plenty to discover even when it rains - from the explorer camp to the stalactite cave in the Triassic Centre. The Triassic Park combines adventure, knowledge, nature and exercise - an unforgettable experience for the whole family in the 3-country corner!

But you definitely have to leave time for the "Triassic Trail". The educational circular walk for the whole family (approx. 4 km, 210 metres in altitude) provides at least as many great vantage points as exciting dinosaur facts and figures. And the brave ones dare to take a look from the 70 m high, coral-shaped viewing platform. Breathtaking for sure! But that's not all! In the "Triassic Centre", visitors are transformed into palaeontologists, i.e. real prehistoric researchers, in no time at all in two rooms. Experience the formation of the earth, see real corals and absorb information in abundance. Interactive and multimedia-based - history can be so exciting! So there's no limit to the prehistoric fun, even in bad weather.
NEW in summer 2025: Panoramic shell
The panorama shell is a shell-shaped resting place with an impressive view of the surrounding landscape. In the summer months, the larch wood construction provides a relaxing stop for visitors of all ages and offers an unforgettable experience of nature. The rest area is also barrier-free.
