Huskies, musher and sled dog courses in St. Ulrich am Pillersee
Each year, sled dogs from all over Europe are guests in St. Ulrich am Pillersee. Over 1,000 huskies can be cuddled and visited in the camp. The mushers will also happily give you an insight into life in the camp and provide you with information about this interesting winter sport. Furthermore, on the last weekend of the International Transpillersee Sled Dog Races, exciting races through the snowy winter wonderland will take place, where spectators can get up close to the action.
The dreamlike winter wonderland around the Pillersee provides the perfect backdrop for sled dogs in St. Ulrich am Pillersee. Over one thousand huskies are expected each year and they can be admired by visitors in the camp. From the "the locomotive of the North", the Alaskan Malamute, to the Greenland Dogs and Samoyeds, to the Siberian Husky, all breeds are represented. At the musher party in the sled dog camp, you can mingle with others and spend several relaxed hours around the campfire, listening to live music and at the husky bar.
