The Buchensteinwand is a special panoramic mountain in the PillerseeTal. Framed by the "big ones" such as the Leoganger and Loferer Steinberge, Wildseeloder, Kitzbüheler Horn or Wilder Kaiser, it is a popular hiking destination with its imposing Jakobskreuz. This tour runs from Hochfilzen via Hoametzl, the Hörlalm and the Bödenalm to the summit and offers impressive mountain moments. A rest in the mountain restaurant or at the Hoametzlhütte is planned.

Distance 9.5 km and 575 m altitude | Free of charge with guest card of the Kitzbühel Alps (please bring your card, it will be scanned), without guest card: € 45/person. | Meeting point: parking place lift Warming/Hochfilzen; take food with you, refreshments available during the tour! Participants with dogs are welcome, please do not forget the dog leash. We would like to point out that this tour also leads through pastureland with cows.
