Every year in March, Fieberbrunn in PillerseeTal is once again the centre of the international freeriding scene and only stop of ther Freeride premier competition, the “Freeride World Tour" in Austria and Germany. When the world’s best freeriders launch themselves from the summit of Wildseeloder down the slope with its 620 m difference in altitude, negotiating a gradient of up to 70 degrees, those looking on can’t help but but marvel.
The steep and rocky north slope of the mountain is a real test even for the most experienced pros, and the riders will give it their all to secure the best chance of winning the title! The first final in Fieberbrunn will be held in a best-of-two-runs format: each rider will have two runs, with only the better run counting towards the final result.
