Austria's longest Ultra Trail in the Kitzbühel Alps

Have you ever ran 174 km through the Kitzbühel Alps? And done this within 24 hours? On Austria's longest Ultra Trail - the KAT100 by UTMB® - participants will give their all. The route leads across the most scenic and most challenging peaks of the Kitzbühel Alps and is a tribute to their passion for running and for nature. The runners can choose from five disciplines, which have varying difficulty grades. But they all have one thing in common: joy for the sport of running!

Highlights KAT100 by UTMB 2023

That was the KAT100 by UTMB 2023 in the PillerseeTal in the Kitzbühel Alps. The weather could not harm true athletes. Despite the wet and cold, over 1,000 participants from all over the world celebrated an atmospheric running festival at the KAT100 by UTMB®. From a sporting point of view, it was an event of records with many surprises and domestic triumphs.

The disciplines

The starting point for all races is Fieberbrunn, in the heart of the PillerseeTal. The town presents itself as a Mecca for nature lovers and alpinists and provides the ideal conditions for the king of all Ultra Trails. Six different stretches await competitors. Here you can find the individual race distances.

Supporting programme

It will not only be an exciting and thrilling race weekend for the runners. There will also be a great supporting programme for spectators right in the centre of Fieberbrunn. In addition to the award ceremonies and the official opening ceremony, live bands and DJs will provide the necessary atmosphere!

Whether 100 miles, marathon, endurance trail, speed or easy trail: the village centre of Fieberbrunn is the hub for all sport-loving fans!The opening ceremony and the award ceremonies also take place here.As parking spaces in the village centre are very limited this weekend, we recommend arriving by public transport.
