Hikes in Tyrol: your hikes in and around Mariastein and the Kitzbüheler Alpen

Come to the the Kitzbüheler Alpen and discover over 2,500 kilometers of perfectly maintained and signposted hiking trails. Hike across green meadows and gentle grass hills to rustic alpine huts, where the landlords dish up the best of food and wine.

From Mariastein you can set off on numerous small hikes, some of them taking you to the neighbouring villages as well. Besides, Tyrol’s most scenic panoramic mountain, the Hohe Salve, is only a few minutes’s drive away and can either be “conquered” comfortably with the cable car from Hopfgarten or more strenuously by yourself.
