Also this year, numerous professional cycling teams will participate in one of the major international cycling events, the Tour of the Alps, which starts in Kufstein and finishes in Bolzano on 26 April.
All in all, the pros have to master a distance of 711 km and an overall elevation gain of 13630 m with ten categorized climbs over 5 stages across the three Euregio regions.
On 22 April, the race will also lead through the village of Kirchbichl. The route will run from Mariastein to Angath, then Krichbichl and from there further on to Bad Häring.
