Night/piste ski tours at Gaisberg Mountain
Three times a week you get the chance to set off from Kirchbergon a safe evening ski tour on the popular Gaisberg piste. Normally, the operators work intensively preparing the downhill runs for the next day. But the “piste groomers” do make allowances especially for our ski touring fans. This creates a time window for risk-free touring – and the whole area in the vicinity. Some snow groomers may be in operation – however, there will definitely not be any hazardous cable winch grooming! Ski touring tip: under floodlights on the Gaisberg Three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday), ski tourers get the chance to get out on to the Gaisberg in the evening (from 6:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.) in safety as no cable winch grooming is taking place. On Thursday and Friday Kirchberg‘s house mountain is illuminated to day-time brightness, so skiers benefit from floodlighting and optimum visibility.
